The Ottawa Animation Festival has been an incredible experience! Animators from all over the world are here. My recent show (that I cast and voice-directed), Celebutard Nation, premiered last night. Very cool - 'Teletoon's Detour Series'. The workshop I taught was fantastic because it was the first time I got to teach a roomful (about 150 animators) all at the same time. It has been a dream of mine to help animators voice their own work! My 'career' workshop (8 intense hours of FUN) is tomorrow, Sunday, Oct 18, and there are only 3 spots left. It is taking place in a state-of-the-art recording studio in Ottawa, from 10am to 6pm. Interested Toons should register IMMEDIATELY if they are 'serious' about getting into this incredible world. They will never look back (ONE voice in a series pays 50,000/yr for '4 hours' a week! Then you do TWO voices in one show. Then you are in several shows... 'Do the math'!) stay tooned...
