voxmarketising – the audio’connell blog and podcast is operated by audio’connell Voice Over Talent.
audio’connell Voice Over Talent is home to a voiceover company that really enjoys the creative process offered in the art of audio production.
Amazingly simple, isn’t it? Care to listen here?
We could bore you about our voiceover studio (the equipment is excellent and sometimes shiny) or our years of broadcasting experience (on average, we’re younger than Rick Dees and older than Ryan Seacrest and we’re not nearly as annoying as either of them) but all you’re really looking for is a great audio and voice talent production.
And that’s what you’re going to get from the whole team at audio’connell Voice Over Talent including company president and professional voiceover talent Peter K. O’Connell!
Peter Kinney O’Connell is a professional voice over talent and audio producer who began his announcing career in Dayton, OH at WVUD-FM (now WLQT) and later at WLVL-AM in Lockport, NY serving in various capacities at both radio stations including afternoon-drive news announcer, disc-jockey and production manager (producing, writing and providing voiceovers for station commercials and promos.)
It was during this time, he established audio’connell Voice Over Talent, which today continues to provide professional voiceover services for national and international clients. audio’connell Voice Over Talent also coordinates and assists in the casting of professional female voice over talents from around the world.
From his studios in Upstate New York, O’Connell’s voice over talents have been heard in local markets across every state in America, in each of the country’s top ten broadcast markets as well as on many national commercial and corporate narrator projects. London, Sydney, and Toronto are just a few of the international markets where his voice talents have been prominently featured in productions.
Some of Peter O’Connell’s voiceover credits include productions for Starz Entertainment Cable Channel, Crosby Stills & Nash, Ring of Fire: The Johnny Cash Musical Show, Cleveland Browns Football, New York State Department of Labor, Full Circle Studios, A&P Supermarkets, Skating Plus, Everlasting Films, Star Marketing and Media, Lonnie’s Carpet, Devaweb, Good to Go Credit.com, Rhoe B. Henderson Insurance, Paragon Advertising, and WKBW-TV.
Some recently completed O’Connell voice over projects include a commercial for the New Jersey Alliance and New Jersey Tourism promoting the Jersey Shore; a point of sale commercial for Shell Oil service stations across the United States and serving as a voice over and narrator for the Junior Chamber International 2006 Seoul World Congress. O’Connell’s studio is often requested to supply character and animation voice services and he recently provided his voice acting skills in an ISDN delivered project for the 2007 Video Game of the Year award winning BioShock.
Peter has also written an e-book entitled The Voice Over Entrance Exam. The book examines the business and performance realities of becoming a voice over talent and maintaining a career among a spirited field of established professionals.
Peter has served on numerous community boards including as President of Buffalo/Niagara Sales and Marketing Executives, Vice Chair of Mount St. Joseph Academy Board of Trustees, Marketing Co-Chair for the Diocese of Buffalo Board of Catholic Education, Co-Chair of St. Joseph Cathedral’s Catholic Charities Appeal, Co-Founder of the Buffalo Chapter of the University of Dayton Alumni Association as well as member of the Canisius High School Alumni Board of Governors.
He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio and Television Communication from the University of Dayton (OH). A pathetic (yet dedicated) golfer, he lives with his wife and children.
