thanks, doc!

voices_that_motivate

My thanks to my fellow voice over talent Doc Phillips who has taken his Speak Easy blog one step further by publishing his favorite motivational and education blog posts from other voice over blogs, including voxmarketising.

Check out his post here to also read great blog posts from Dave Courvoisier, Bob Souer, Liz de Nesnera, Bobbin Beam, Willie Edwards, Elaine Singer and Bryan Cox.

It’s an honor for this blog to be recognized in such a way and especially to be included with such great voice and writing talents. Thank you for your efforts Doc!

  1. Peter,

How nice to have reciprocal recognition, indeed. Voices That Motivate takes advantage of a new marketing paradigm called “Blog Carnival”. And, while I enjoy all the submissions I post, it really has little to do with my “favorites”. In fact, as long as it is not too far off track, it will be included. I feel that those who choose to submit deserve to be heard whether I agree with what they have to say or not. That’s the whole purpose of a Blog Carnival. In fact, sometimes the articles are totally unrelated to voiceover and are just plain interesting and/or fun to read. When that happens, I’ll find a category in which to place them. Think of this as your cyber magazine for the voiceover industry as a whole.

And, the hosting duties can and will be shared with any who would like to have more exposure to their own blogs and who have about 90 minutes over a month’s time to collect and post them on THEIR blog.

I’ve been looking for a new way to implement marketing techniques and this came along. The inspiration for the endeavor comes directly from great marketers like yourself, Peter. There are many others who deserve recognition for inspiring me as well – some have already been mentioned in your post above.

Thanks again, Peter. And, I’ll keep looking to you and your prowess for future inspiration.

  3. Doc:

I salute your desire to take new technology and bend it to your industry’s benefit. I can’t wait to see the payoff over the long term.

    Thanks again for the nod.

    Best always,
    – Peter
