movember – day 21

Yup, it already needed to be trimmed a bit.

The MO-VO team is up over $2,000 in donations for Men’s Cancer Research. Thanks to ALL the donors.

If you have only $5.00 to donate to this cause, I would be very thankful.

And if you can only offer a prayer to those men and their families who are dealing with the challenges of Cancer now or those families who will not enjoy Thanksgiving with the man in their life this year…that would certainly be equally appreciated.

movember – day 14

My thought as I think about this picture is “I think men grow hair faster as they get older”.

I don’t recall whiskers coming in this fast in the past, but I’ve never kept a whisker-growing diary like this before.

But beyond the facial hair is OVER $200.00 donated to my efforts! You people are insane and in the BEST possible way. Thank you VERY much for your generosity.

Thanks to (first names or initials only to protect the innocent 😉

If you’re reading this and can spare but $5.00 as a donation to help fund Men’s Cancer Research (you can donate less or more – whatever YOU are comfortable with) please click here.

And if funds are tight right now (and I fully understand, please do NOT feel bad) just take a moment and offer a prayer of support and healing for those men and their families suffering through their cancer.

I really think sometimes those prayers are worth more than any dollar amount.

I know it’s not polite to shout but THANK YOU ALL!!!!!

movember – day 11

See, this picture is what happens when I get artsy fartsy in Picasa.

Maybe black and white pictures make my facial hair look less black and white….or maybe not.

All I ask is, if you can, offer a $5.00 donation to support Men’s Cancer Research by clicking here.

I’ve raised $165 with your kind support. If I could get to $200.00 for the cause by December 1st, that would be great.

And thank you.

movember – day 7

As promised, another Movember photo update, day 7.

Now you can see that the upper lip represents youth…with it’s dark whiskers.

The lower lip and chin represent old age with its primarily white whiskers….and I’ve earned every darn one!

If you have it in your budget, I hope you’ll donate just $5.00 to my Movember page…all funds go to research male cancers like prostate and testicular cancer.

But if you can’t donate (and I understand, I really do), please say a special prayer for all the men and their families who are battling these diseases – that they may recover in good health and see their children and grandchildren live long, happy and healthy lives.

And if you can do both, well that would just be awesome.

Thanks!

movember – day 3

Holy cow!

I’ve only asked for a $5.00 donation to my Movember campaign which raises vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.

This has already gone a bit better than I expected….thanks to:

– Dave Courvoisier
– Dan Friedman
– Derek Chappell
– Cliff Zellman

And other generous donors who wish to remain anonymous. You know who you are and I THANK YOU!

Up to $120 for donated on my page and a grand total of $715 for the MO-VO team.

Oh my goodness thanks.

All I ask is – if you can – offer a $5.00 donation here. Gracias!

movember – day 1

Well kids, it’s on!

Or at least it WILL be on as the days progress.

November 1st is the first day of Movember where us gents around the world grow facial hair for the symbolic support of men with prostate and other male related cancers everywhere.

It’s a bit of fun for a serious cause. This is the first picture I’ll post. Remember, I will be growing the goatee, not just the mustache because as bad as I look normally, I look horrid in a stache.

All I ask is a one-time $5.00 donation to my efforts which you can do on this page.

If it’s in your budget this week, I hope you’ll help. Thanks.
