new web site for bilingual voice talent dan hurst

Male Voice Talent Dan Hurst

Got a ping in my email box from bilingual (English/Spanish) voice talent Dan Hurst that he has updated his web site.

His new and improved web site contains exclusive super concentrated emollients and retsyn for that just brushed clean sounding audio.

No it doesn’t, I’m just being silly. But the web site does look nice and it has always sounded great.

the devil is in the cookie aisle

So let me clear – the reason you are NOT supposed to grocery shop when you are hungry is because when you have to go to the cookie aisle to get those little snack pack of oreos for school lunches that are on the grocery list, you have to walk past the big oreos, like the nice mint oreos. And you think, “won’t that be a treat for the week”, and maybe you’ll have just one when you get home since you truly never ever buy them because you know you like them a bit “toooo” much. Except you rip the damn bag open in the parking lot while you are loading the groceries. Three for me and one for my child so it “seems” equal, at least to her. And then when you get home, you sneak just a couple of more and then a couple after dinner, and then you stupidly poor yourself a half glass of milk (which you normally wouldn’t drink at this time of night save for the mint crackeos you purchased less than an hour ago) only to find that by the time the milk is deliciously gone so are 2 of 3 rows of mint oreos which proves my sugar induced theory that the devil LIVES in the cookie aisle of every store.

So endth the lesson. *burp*

For the victims.

For their families.

For our troops and their families.

For us.

stand up 2 cancer tonight – on darn near every television channel there is

Stand Up 2 Cancer SU2C

I don’t watch a lot of TV and I promote shows even less than that on this blog cause that’s not really what I write about alot.

But tonight I will be a viewer of Stand Up 2 Cancer and a supporter of those suffering from it – directly and indirectly – past, present and future.

If you are fighting the battle yourself or with someone, know that you are in my prayers for the best possible outcome – I’ve seen it happen and I know it can happen for you too.

a little video voiceover demo fun

To be clear, I am not the first person to create a YouTube video for my voice over demo.

In fact, as usual, many have gone before me and probably done it better.

But while I am not first to the party (you know, where there’s that kinda awkward standing around trying to create small talk waiting for somebody…anybody else to arrive next) I certainly will not be last to the party.

So I hope you enjoy my stab at voiceover marketing sprinkled with a dash of humor.
