the faux-dition votes are in
Posted on February 14th, 2010 by peter k. o'connell, your friendly, neighborhood voice-over talent
I’ve tabulated the votes on the unofficial audition for the announcer job for World News with Diane Sawyer.
My oh my was there a lot of politicking going on in this year’s faux-dition vote. This “crown” is more important to folks than I realized.
Congratulations to Ralph and all the nominees for your efforts and obvious talent.
Very special thanks to EVERYONE who participated. I hope all 96 of you enjoyed it.

11 Brian Haymond
It was fun to participate Peter!
Quite the international competition you had take place:)
I am just 245 miles away from the Vancouver Winter Olympics here in Kelowna, BC. I see the first vote cast in the contest came from out east from Jef Brown in Grimsby, Ontario. Andy Boyns in Istanbul, Turkey cast the final vote. Obviously, a lot of good choices. Thanks to everyone who took the time to vote for me!
Continued success to everyone working hard in this wonderful business!
Sincerely,
Ralph Hass
